About Me:
Hi there folks! I'm Dave. People always tell me that I'm crazily optimistic and am always in a good mood…I guess that's just my style. :) Zaadz seems like the type of place to embrace someone like me, so I'm excited to meet like-minded zaadzsters who share my passion and zest for life.
My Passions:
Beauty: recognizing it, and helping to add to it. I see beauty in many facets of life. Whether it's the beauty of personal relationships, the beauty of someone's closely held emotions, the beauty of the earth and the delicate balance that humans are seeking to find with her, or the beauty of the normalities of everyday life.
I love helping people. I really believe in people. I believe you can do anything. Really, I do. I love to help people see the fire in themselves, to help them realize that they're infinitely talented, infinitely beautiful, infinitely intelligent, and to remind them that the future is on their side as long as they believe it is.
Interaction/Interconnectivity. I've always been facinated with the web. I started up an Internet design company when I was 15. And kept going strong from there. I never really knew why I was facinated with the web, but I think I'm gradually beginning to understand why. I think the main reason is because of the connection that it facilities. When two individuals from the far stretches of the world can meet electronically and relate on the same level/help eachother out, it's a truly beautiful technological feat. And it's equally as beautiful when that same medium helps bring friends who we already see on a daily basis even closer into our inner personal circle. The web gives us the means to strengthen our bonds with others. It's really amazing.
I'm also super passionate about a little company called 302designs. It's an inspirational/positive-minded clothing company I co-founded while I was a sophomore in college. I've stuck with it for the past three years and just recently quit my first salaried job out of school to run with it full-time. It's probably the scariest decision I've ever made, but it's something I really believe in. I've poured my heart into it to turn it into something I'm truly proud of—a business that not only reflects my professional values, but also my personal outlook on life.
On a personal note, please introduce yourself. I most certainly look forward to meeting you! Talk soon…
